I am weirdly sized and have a hard time trying to find yoga pants long enough.
A friend pointed me toward the Ewedoos brand, and honestly, I was skeptical at first since they weren’t specifically advertised as being for tall women. With my 36-inch inseam, I’ve basically given up hope of finding pants that actually reach my ankles, but these came surprisingly close to full length when I tried them on. I went with the heathered style in a size that worked for my curves, and they passed my personal squat test with flying colors. No see-through moments, which happen easily when I try to stretch normal leggings down.
My friend has a much slimmer build and uses the solid colours, but I was fine with both white and black.
Just thought that might help anyone else looking for tall pants (on the high shelves, of course).
The sizing went up to 3X, which I appreciated since so many brands stop at large or extra-large. I’ll admit the brand seemed a bit mysterious when I was researching them - possibly imported - and I couldn’t find much information about their other products. The quality surprised me, though, especially for the price point, and they’ve held up through multiple washes and hot yoga sessions. If you’re a tall yogi who’s tired of capri-length “full-length” pants, you might love these as much as I do.

Ordered a pair immediately and will report back!
I learned the hard way that when brands like Lululemon offer ‘long’ versions, they only extend the leg length but keep the same rise, which means us tall yogis still end up with that awkward low-waisted fit during downward dog. It’s so frustrating when you finally find pants that reach your ankles, but then they sit way too low on your hips!
When testing yoga pants in the dressing room, I do a full forward fold and check if the hem rides up past my ankle bone. If it does, those ‘full-length’ pants will definitely become awkward in class.
I thought I had it tough and I’m shorter than you! I can find taller ones to fit but I can’t find any with a pocket for my key.
I might be around your height and I use Long Tall Sally. They’re… okay. The waistband is good but they don’t move as nicely as proper yoga brands do, I just wear normal leggings and pull them right up over my calves and maybe size up a bit if I need to.
I’ve noticed that 7/8 length yoga pants (which are supposed to hit above the ankle on average height people) actually end up being perfect full length on me with my long legs!
Started buying them instead of the ‘full length’ options that always looked like awkward flood pants on me, and brands like Athleta have tons of 7/8 styles in their Elation and Salutation lines. The ultra high-rise options are especially great since they actually reach my natural waist instead of sitting somewhere around my hip bones (fellow tall yogis know the struggle). It’s funny how what’s meant to be cropped for others becomes our go-to full-length solution!
Can we talk about how INFURIATING it is when yoga brands mark up their tall sizes by like $20 to $30 more than regular lengths?! Like hello, we didn’t choose to be tall, and fabric doesn’t cost THAT much more! I was shopping at Athleta last week, and their tall leggings were literally $28 more than the regular ones for the exact same style.
It’s basically a tall tax at this point. Meanwhile, petite sizes are the same price as regular, make it make sense! At least Ewedoos seems to keep its pricing consistent across sizes, which is refreshing.
Ewedoos actually has matching tall sports bras too
I stumbled upon the Zenana fold over waist yoga pants on Amazon, and even though I’m only 5’6’, I actually have to hem them quite a bit which means they’d be perfect for taller yogis! They’re surprisingly affordable and the bootcut style is so flattering for all those warrior poses!
I’m glad you found something that works for you.
The problem with leggings is we’re all built differently, and while these should have been a great length for me, I had one from this brand before, and they were always sliding down.
Nothing breaks your zen faster than having to yank your leggings back up in the middle of downward dog! Like seriously, how am I supposed to focus on my breath and find inner peace when I’m constantly worried about flashing the entire class during forward fold? The whole point of yoga is to be present and mindful, but instead, I spent every class doing the awkward shimmy pull movement between poses.
Finally gave up and passed them along to someone else. Hopefully, they had better luck than I did!
Whenever I try on longer yoga pants, they catch and drag during certain poses or transitions, especially in Ashtanga or flow classes. You might find it distracting and even dangerous, so you’ll want to find the right fit that doesn’t just look good on you but also stays put.
I don’t know about Ewedoos but some brands actually categorize their tall options by specific height ranges (like ‘semi-tall’ for 6’6’3’). In what world is that only semi-tall but still, that’s helpful.
American Tall is another good brand for us tall yogis. I just got two pairs of their 36’ inseam leggings and they’re amazing no more awkward ankle exposure! Finally found leggings that actually reach my ankles during practice. Total lifesaver for my flows.
While I totally get why the 7/8 length hack has become such gospel for achieving that perfect full-length look, I question if we’re overlooking how differently fabrics behave on various body types.
My leggings consistently fall into that no man’s land of too short but not cropped, particularly once they’ve seen the inside of a dryer. Perhaps the real solution isn’t following the 7/8 rule blindly, but rather considering fabric weight and shrinkage patterns first?
Note to all brands: Tall yoga pants are not just regular pants with extra fabric slapped on the bottom. It’s not how anyone’s bodies work. NO. Just no. The best brands actually get it they adjust the rise so you’re not constantly hiking them up, they move the hip placement so you don’t look like you’re wearing a diaper, and they reposition the knees so you’re not getting weird baggy spots when you bend.
This isn’t rocket science, people, it’s basic proportional design. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
